Independent record label, Always Proper, has just released a new EP by Alembic, who happens to be the latest addition to their roster. Little is known about the up-and-coming beatmaker but take one listen to this beautifully crafted instrumental project and you'll know everything you need to know about him (or her... or them). Pay special attention to the third track, Ridin', which brings forth a super-relaxed vibe through warm-sounding horn melodies, boom bap drum beats and the unmistakable sounds of Nas and AZ vocal samples.
