Sifu Hotman is a Minnesota-based trio made up of rappers Guante, Dem Atlas (Rhymesayers' newest member) and producer, Rube. The three artists attack this newly-crafted 10-track project from separate angles and combine their distinct styles to create an album that they have described as containing "venomous punchlines and constantly-shifting flows over some bone-cracking boom-bap". If you're a true-school hip hop aficionado, then the last sentence should contain enough buzzwords to peak your interest. Take a listen to the title track, Embrace The Sun, and you'll get a feel for the classic quality of Hotman's sound.
