Stone's Throw recording artist, Homeboy Sandman, attempts to put reality into perspective while exposing the jadedness of 1st world nations (specifically, America), with his new single, America, The Beautiful. Sandman places himself as some sort of non-human observer by delivering concise descriptive lyrics with a robotic cadence. The title isn't meant to be sarcastic. This is simply his way of saying, "it could be a lot worse".
"We are the 99 percent, locally. We are the 1 percent, globally".
