For many years now. Statik Selektah has been consistently keeping the boom bap sound alive and well during today's digital era. The east-coast producer/DJ has recently teamed up with Brooklyn's Joey Bada$$ and west-coast emcee, Freddie Gibbs, in order to bring us a new track called, Carry On. The track, I assume, will be the first of many leading up to the release of his upcoming album, What Goes Around, which is due out on August 19th.
