Nashville producer and mash-up wizard, Amerigo Gazaway, has just released the second edition of his Soul Mates project, Yasiin Gaye. For those of you who are not yet familiar, it is basically a mash-up masterpiece that combines sounds from both Mos Def's and Marvin Gaye's extensive repertoires. Part one, which came out more than a few months ago, was a huge hit amongst hip hop enthusiasts and this second instalment seems seems to be headed in the same direction. The quality of the project, as well as Amerigo's talent and creativity are undeniable. Here's proof.
